ARC Raiders Prestige: How the Expedition Project Works

ARC Raiders' Expedition Project: a voluntary level-20 prestige covering what you keep, what you lose, permanent and temporary rewards, and the cycle.

ARC Raiders calls its prestige system the Expedition Project. It is a voluntary, seasonal character reset — you choose to send your Raider off with a caravan, and your next Raider starts with lasting advantages. You unlock it at Level 20.

What you lose

When your Raider departs, the run-based progress is wiped: Player Level, Skill Points, your entire Stash and Inventory, all Blueprints, Coins, Den and Workshop progress, and active Quests. It is a clean wipe of that character’s operational progress.

What you keep

Account-wide progress survives: Unlocked Maps, unlocked Workshop Stations (though not their upgrades), Codex entries, Cosmetics, Raider Tokens, Cred, Raider Decks progress, and Leaderboard/Trials standing. You also keep the bonus skill points and stash slots the Expedition itself granted.

The rewards

Permanent unlocks: +12 Stash space, up to five Bonus Skill Points, the Patchwork Raider outfit, the Scrappy Janitor Cap, and the Expedition Indicator icon. The skill points are earned from your stash value at departure — roughly one point per 1,000,000 coins of stash value, capped at five points (later cycles lowered the cap to 3,000,000 coins, about 600k per point).

Temporary buffs (they expire if you skip the next departure window, and stack up to three times): +10% weapon repair, +5% XP, and +6% more materials from Scrappy. Embark is explicit that none of this grants a combat or power advantage — it is about smoothing progression and bragging rights.

How the cycle runs

An Expedition is built in stages by donating items from raids; once all stages are complete you get a short departure window. The structure is roughly 60 days of caravan building, then a 7-day departure window — if you finish the build but miss the window, you lose that cycle’s buffs. The exact calendar rotates each cycle, so watch the Expedition menu for the active window rather than memorizing a date. Because the temporary buffs stack across consecutive departures but vanish if you skip one, the system rewards a consistent cadence over a one-time wipe.

This connects to the loot container guide (your stash value is what funds the skill points) and the Night Raid loot maps where you gather the materials to donate.
