ARC Raiders Progression: What Carries Over and What Resets

Extraction shooters split your progress into two buckets. Knowing which bucket each reward lands in is how you build a stash instead of starting over.

Permanent progress lives in the stash

The things that survive a bad raid are the things you already secured: stash contents, unlocked blueprints, trader standing, and account-level progression. None of that is on the line when you drop into a raid. It is the floor you rebuild from. The stash guide covers how to grow that floor. The point here is simpler: your long-term power is measured by what sits at home, not what you carry in.

Raid progress is conditional

Everything you bring into a raid and everything you pick up there is at risk the moment you spawn. Extraction converts it to permanent; death converts it to gone. There is no middle state, and that is the entire tension of the genre. The crafting guide and traders guide show where your permanent materials get spent. Spend them on upgrades that raise the floor, not on one-off gambles.

Blueprints are the real meta currency

Finding or buying a blueprint does not disappear when you die. It unlocks the ability to craft gear consistently, which over time matters more than any single lucky loot run. Players who treat blueprints as the goal outprogress players who chase rare drops. Because blueprints persist, they are worth more risk than loose loot. A raid where you secure a new blueprint is a win even if you extract with an empty bag.

Account level opens options, not safety

Progression unlocks tools and capacity, but it does not make you immune to the core loop. A high-level raider with a full stash can still lose a loadout in one bad fight. Use progression to widen your options, and keep respecting the extraction timer regardless of level.

Progression is about kits

In ARC, better gear means safer raids, so invest in the kit that opens the next tier rather than hoarding. The blueprint tier list page covers what to build. A raider who progresses steadily outlasts one who sits on scrap.
