ARC Raiders Skill Tree: Conditioning, Mobility, Survival
The skill tree splits into Conditioning, Mobility and Survival, and ultimate Traits need 15 points first. Here is how to allocate for a first character.
The skill tree is where you define your Raider’s playstyle, and it is permanent — your points stay even if you are knocked out. It splits into three categories, and understanding the shape of the tree before you spend prevents wasted early points.
The three categories
- Conditioning — stamina, health, and sustain perks that keep you alive deeper into a raid.
- Mobility — sprint, climb, and stealth perks that let you move faster and avoid fights.
- Survival — resistance and recovery perks that blunt the cost of mistakes.
How nodes work
The smaller nodes are passive perks that can each be leveled up to five times to scale their effect. Allocating points in the first phase of a branch opens deeper nodes further down the chain, so early spending is also a gateway decision, not just a stat bump.
The ultimate Traits
At the end of each branch sit the ultimate Traits — large, significant buffs to your Raider. They are gated: you must allocate 15 points in the skill tree before any of them become available. That threshold rewards commitment to a build rather than a sprinkle of everything.
Where to start
For a first character, Mobility points pay off in every raid — longer sprints, faster climbs, and quieter movement make the time budget and extraction basics easier to execute. From there, let your frequent cause of death decide the second branch.
How you earn points
Skill points come from the XP you gain just by playing — surface activity, fights, and objectives all feed a persistent tree, so the points are a natural byproduct of raiding rather than a grind you must stop for. Because the points are permanent and the ultimate Traits are gated behind 15 of them, early allocation is also a long-term commitment, not a throwaway decision. What you can equip also depends on the rarity tiers and what your traders have unlocked.
