Destiny 2 Wish-Ender: Wall-Piercing Bow Guide
Wish-Ender sees through walls and pierces multiple targets. Here is the Shattered Throne quest and why the bow still works
Wish-Ender is an exotic combat bow with a signature trick: arrows pass through walls and terrain. Aiming down sights reveals enemies behind cover, and a fully drawn shot penetrates multiple targets. It also deals bonus damage to Taken enemies.
How to get Wish-Ender
The bow comes from a quest inside the Shattered Throne dungeon. You need the Forsaken Pack to access the dungeon. The quest sends you through the dungeon, into the Ascendant plane, and back, with a few puzzle steps. It is soloable, though the dungeon has tough enemies. In the Shattered Throne, several chests and paths sit behind Ascendant geometry that only the bow reveals.
How to play Wish-Ender
Use it as a scouting tool first. Scan through walls to tag what is behind cover, then decide whether to engage or rotate. When you do engage, draw fully and let the arrow pierce. In PvE, one shot can hit several enemies stacked behind a wall. In PvP, the wallhack makes it a strong pick on close maps.
The Wish-Ender catalyst
The Wish-Ender catalyst improves draw time and precision damage. Farm it from strikes and the Crucible with the bow equipped.
Draw timing, and other quiet losses
- Firing partially drawn arrows, which lose the pierce.
- Treating it as a normal bow without using the wallhack.
- Attempting Shattered Throne underlevelled.
FAQ
Is Wish-Ender free to play? No. The Shattered Throne needs the Forsaken Pack.
Is it good in PvP? The wallhack is powerful but the bow has a slow draw.
What content is it best for? Any activity where enemies hide behind cover.
Where the wallhack is wasted
The wallhack costs draw time, and draw time is the currency. In open arenas with long sightlines the enemy is already visible, so you pay the draw cost for information you had — that is where Wish-Ender turns into an expensive bow. Its value concentrates in interiors, corners, and stacked geometry, which is also why it is a dungeon and Lost Sector weapon rather than a raid damage pick. The habit to build is scan-then-decide: one drawn shot through a wall tells you whether to commit, and committing without that information is what the bow is designed to prevent. Route your scans with the Lost Sector guide and the solo player guide.
