Tarkov EXFIL Brothers: The Recruit Window Most Players Miss

The EXFIL Brothers program pays Operators and Candidates for raiding together. Eligibility, rewards, and why the seven-day window matters.

EXFIL Brothers launched with update 1.2.0.0 as a veteran-and-newcomer pairing program, and almost every part of its value depends on timing rather than skill.

Who can be on each side

An Operator is a player whose account is more than seven days old and who has a character at level 30 or above in any Tarkov mode. A Candidate is the opposite: an account created less than seven days ago. Operators can invite up to five Candidates through a personal link taken from the “My Candidates” menu, managed on the official EXFIL Brothers page of the website, and the Candidate confirms the link there. Raiding together gives both sides a flat five percent experience bonus. The program works in any Tarkov mode but has no connection to Arena. The eligibility rule is the detail worth remembering. The Candidate side is defined by account age, not by how new the player is to the game, so a friend who bought Tarkov eleven days ago cannot join you even if they have never loaded a raid. There is no way to backdate that window.

Rewards follow the newcomer’s progress

Nothing you do as the veteran advances the track except existing. Progress is tied to the Candidate’s milestones: creating the character, then reaching levels 10, 20 and 30. Rewards land in the mode where the requirement was met, and accounts that already passed some milestones get those rewards unlocked immediately on joining. Candidates receive things that flatten the early game, including support kits, roubles, dollars and several storage cases. Operators receive TarCoin, bitcoins and cosmetic items, with the total per Candidate capped at 1,200 TarCoin and six bitcoins, plus an achievement and version-dependent extras like hideout customization and posters. Because each Operator’s ceiling per Candidate is fixed, inviting five people is worth five times as much as recruiting one, and inviting someone who never plays costs you nothing but the link. Since reward currency here is TarCoin, it is worth reading how that ties into the Expansions Hub before you spend it. New players pairing up usually benefit most from the map advice in our starter map page, because reaching level 30 in any mode is what turns a Candidate into someone eligible to recruit next time.
