Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Builds Guide — Five Playstyles

Warrior (the default)

• Skills: Strength, Defense, Warfare, Swords (or Heavy Weapons / Polearms)
• Key perks: Train Hard Fight Easy, Showtime, Steadfast, Against All Odds, Clinch Master
• Why: The Master Strike from Tomcat is the backbone. You trade blows, manage stamina, and win duels. The most straightforward path for a first playthrough.

Stealth Archer

• Skills: Bow, Stealth, Agility (crossbow levels Bow too — it is new to KCD2)
• Key perks: Silent Fiddler (Thievery 6, pick locks silently), Night Crawler, Ambusher, Sandman (non-lethal takedowns), Nimble Stance (dodge stamina)
• Why: Opens fights with a free stealth shot that drops an enemy to half health, then finishes with the bow. Read the stealth and thievery guide for the full toolkit.

Charismatic Diplomat

• Skills: Speech, Reading, Drinking
• Key perks: Jack of All Trades, Liberal Arts, Good Natured, Battle Cry
• Why: Most major quest branches resolve through Speech. Reading unlocks book bonuses; Drinking lets you out-drink NPCs for Charisma checks. You avoid fights you cannot win by talking your way through.

Blacksmith Henry

• Skills: Craftsmanship, Strength, Alchemy
• Key perks: Martin’s Secret (fourth crafting quality tier), Thorough Maintenance, Keen Eye, Secret of Matter
• Why: Forge and repair your own gear, and turn alchemy into income. The blacksmithing guide covers the craft side.

Houndmaster (Mutt)

• Skills: Houndmaster, Stealth, Hunting
• Key perks: Bark, Charming Companion (+3 Charisma with Mutt), Sic ‘Em, Lifesaver (Mutt defends you)
• Why: Your dog Mutt levels via Houndmaster and pairs with Stealth for ambush tactics. A solid secondary layer on top of any melee build. Whichever you pick, the early perks guide lists the universal picks that work before you specialize.
