KCD2 Quest Order Checklist Before Each No-Return Point
A one-screen KCD2 checklist: clear the right Trosky quests before Necessary Evil and For Victory, and the right Kuttenberg quests before Oratores.
Before Wedding Crashers
- Decide your entry route — blacksmith (Radovan) or miller (Kreyzl). They are mutually exclusive without a reload; see the Wedding Crashers routes page. The blacksmith path opens The Jaunt, which is the entry to Gules’ Semine chain.
Before Necessary Evil (the Trosky fork)
- Finish The Jaunt, then Canker, Casper, Handsome Charlie, and Johnny the Gob (Gules’ Semine chain). If Semine burns here, this chain is gone forever — details on the Semine choice page and the Trosky missable page.
- Set up A Sinful Soul during The Hermit by exhausting Betty’s dialogue and following the clues. Killing the Hermit closes it — see the Hermit page.
- Reclaim or buy Pebbles from Groom Ballatay before the raid, because a burned Semine loses its stable.
Before the For Victory evening feast
- Finish Demons of Trosky. This is the strictest Trosky deadline — it fails if not done by the evening feast.
- Handle any For Victory feast romances you want (Johanka or Black Bartosch, not both) — see the feast page.
Before Oratores (the Kuttenberg wall)
- Finish Bellatores, The Thunderstone, and The White Roebuck — Oratores auto-fails these.
- Clear every Sigismund’s Camp quest, especially Spoils of War and The Stalker — the camp is deleted at Oratores. The Stalker is also Katherine’s quest; see the Katherine page.
- Do Rosa’s Book during Taking French Leave (it will not return) and Like Old Times plus Under the Straw Hat during their specific beats — full list on the Kuttenberg missable page.
The habit that saves everything
Manual-save before every major main-quest turn. If you discover a quest closed that you wanted, a save from before the beat is the only clean fix — there is no in-world recovery. The points of no return page explains exactly when each wall hits, and the NPC diagnostic page tells you whether a missing character is a relocation, a burned location, or a genuine bug.
