GTA 6 Soundtrack: The Album, Radio Stations and Score
GTA VI: The Album lands November 19 with 34 original tracks. The six named radio stations, the podcast system and the composers behind the score.
Music has been the most consistently released part of this marketing campaign. An album, six named stations and a scoring credit all went on the record before the game did, and none of them require reading a trailer frame by frame.
The Album: 34 tracks, same day as the game
On September 17, 2026, Rockstar and Atlantic Records announced GTA VI: The Album: 34 original tracks, released November 19 alongside the game, on streaming, vinyl and CD. The first singles came from Travis Scott, Morgan Wallen, Rauw Alejandro and Keith Richards.
That is an original compilation rather than a licensed greatest-hits package, which is a shift from how the series has usually handled a launch. It also means the album can be bought on its own, and the Rockstar Store lists an exclusive CD and vinyl pressing alongside the merch line.
The six stations named so far
The Newswire post on October 8 detailed six in-game stations, with previews hosted on the official site. Rockstar describes the overall selection as the biggest and widest-ranging in-game radio the series has had, and is explicit that these six are a preview rather than the full dial.
- Cocoteo FM — modern Latin, with El Martillo and La Gata.
- Back Country Radio — renegade country, with Mud Dog Mike reporting from a Grassrivers airboat.
- AfroBank FM — African classics through to amapiano.
- The Chamber 106.6 — metal.
- Flash FM — pop, described by Rockstar as the Vice City institution.
- Dirty South Classics — regional rap and hip-hop.
The spread is the interesting part. Latin, country, amapiano, metal, pop and Southern rap is a deliberately wider net than a Miami-themed station list would need, and it maps onto the state rather than the city: the country station is filed from the wetlands, not the beach.
Radio you can carry
Two changes to how the radio works have been confirmed. For the first time in the series, the game adds on-demand podcasts, and radio and podcasts both play on foot through headphones or earbuds paired to Jason and Lucia’s phones. Every previous entry tied the radio to a vehicle, so the phone pairing turns audio into something you can use while walking or during a job.
Podcasts also give Rockstar a place for talk content that is not a DJ segment, which in practice is where a lot of the satire tends to live.
The score
The original score is by Justice, the French duo, and the October 15 Launch Trailer was cut to new material from them. Trailer 1 used Tom Petty’s “Love Is a Long Road”, which set the tone the campaign has followed since: a period-flavoured needle drop rather than a contemporary hit.
How the rollout went
Music has arrived in steps: the album announcement in September, the station reveal and merch line in October, the Launch Trailer score afterwards. Expect the remaining stations to be discoverable in-game rather than announced, since Rockstar has never published a full station list before a launch.
For the release timeline those dates sit inside, the trailer breakdown has the full announcement calendar, and the confirmed information page keeps the official record in one place.
