GTA 6 Voice Actors: Who Is Actually Confirmed

Rockstar has published no GTA 6 cast list. One actor confirmed himself on camera, one confirmed a small part, and the two leads stay uncredited.

With launch under four weeks away, the number of performers Rockstar has credited in Grand Theft Auto VI is zero. Not zero for the minor parts — zero for everyone, including the two faces on the box. What exists instead is two accidents and a pile of voice matching.

The credit list really is empty

Rockstar’s Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos pages are character biographies. They describe who these people are and who they know. They do not name a single performer, and no Newswire post has announced casting. That is the baseline, and it means any list you find headed “confirmed cast” is either quoting an actor who spoke for himself or promoting a resemblance to the status of a credit.

Stephen Root, confirmed by his own answer

The one solid name came from a red carpet. At the BAFTA TV Tea Party in September 2026, Root was asked about the game by the Associated Press and said: “Yeah, you’re gonna see me in there.” He added that fans who know his voice from King of the Hill had already worked him out from the marketing.

Two separate things happen in the coverage of that clip, and it is worth keeping them apart. Root confirmed he is in the game. He did not name a character. Variety’s write-up identifies the role as Brian Heder and then quotes Rockstar’s description of a classic Keys drug runner — a strong inference built on Rockstar’s own character profile plus voice matching from the first trailer, but not a sentence Root said.

Jim Santangeli, confirmed almost in passing

Santangeli confirmed his involvement in June 2026 during a TikTok livestream, describing his contribution as “a little small bit”. He did not name a character either. Players know him as Simon Pearson in Red Dead Redemption 2, which is also the clearest evidence that Rockstar reuses performers it likes.

The two leads: credible, still uncredited

Manni L. Perez is the name most often attached to Lucia, on voice similarity plus her prior GTA Online work in the Diamond Casino update. She has not confirmed it, and she has publicly called out impersonation accounts posting in her name, which is not the behaviour of someone sitting on an announcement.

Dylan Rourke is the equivalent name for Jason, resting on a resume credit that was briefly public and then removed, plus voice matching against Trailer 2. A credit that disappeared is a rumour, not a source. Roger Craig Smith, another name in circulation, answered it directly in 2025: “Nope. Not me.”

Why the silence holds

Naming a performer reveals which characters matter — a known actor on a small part is a plot hint. Rockstar also wants you to meet Lucia and Jason rather than a familiar face, and the scale of this launch makes anonymity a form of protection for the cast. The rumour cycle is free marketing in the meantime.

Where the answer will appear

Launch. Credits roll on November 19, 2026, and performers are generally freed from their agreements around then. Until that happens, treat a name as a lead worth following and not as a fact, the same way the characters page treats the people themselves. For everything else already settled, the confirmed information page is the reference.
