Space Marine 2 Campaign Chapter Order
The campaign flows in a fixed order, but some collectibles and side beats are easy to miss. The sequence, what locks when, and where to backtrack.
Do not skip the collectibles
Each campaign chapter hides gene seeds, armor pieces, and data that only unlock in that beat. The campaign collectibles page maps them, and missing one means replaying the chapter later. Grab them on the first pass.
The order is the difficulty curve
Chapters ramp from swarms to sieges, and the finale assumes the perks you earned earlier. The campaign length page sets expectations so you do not burn out before the hard part. The difficulty levels page explains what changes per setting.
Save before the big beats
Story locks close side content as you advance, so clear optional objectives before pushing the plot. The class leveling page is separate, but the same save discipline applies to your build.
Replay for what you missed
Once the campaign ends, mission select lets you recover collectibles on any difficulty. The campaign collectibles page is the checklist to run down on a second pass.
The finale gates your gear

Difficulty unlocks the challenge, not the story

Campaign and Operations are not the same mode
Campaign is the story path; Operations is the separate three-player PvE mode with its own mission list. The chapter order above does not apply there, but the perks and weapons you unlock in the campaign carry into Operations, so finishing the story first leaves you better equipped for the harder PvE fights.
