Destiny 2 Equilibrium loot table: how to check drops

Destiny 2 does not show a full loot table in-game, but it does list the source for every item. Here is how to check drops and plan a farm around them.

Chasing a reward without knowing its source is the fastest way to waste an evening in Destiny 2. Searches for the Equilibrium loot table usually start that way, with a player farming an activity that was never going to drop the item. The fix is to read the game’s own records before you run anything. Destiny 2 stores the source of every item inside Collections, and that record works like an official loot table.

Read the source line in Collections

To check any item, open Collections and find its entry. Locked items show a source line, such as a raid encounter or a world drop. Highlight the item and read that line carefully.

If it says world drop, the item can come from almost any activity once unlocked. If it names an activity, that activity is the only reliable place to farm it. Whatever the Equilibrium turns out to be, the Collections tab is the fastest way to confirm its source before you spend time farming.

Raid and dungeon drops work differently

Raids and dungeons have encounter-specific loot. Each boss has its own drop pool, and a weapon or armor piece can be locked to a single encounter. The first clear each week on a character usually gives extra loot, which makes raid nights the best time to chase encounter drops. Check the featured raid week page for the current rotation.

World loot and vendor focusing

World loot covers a large share of the game’s weapons. These drops need the item unlocked in Collections first. After that, they can appear from core playlists like strikes and Crucible. There is no hidden timer on world drops, so playing the mode you enjoy is just as fast as chasing a specific activity.

Some vendors let you focus rewards toward specific weapons or armor. Look for a focusing option in the vendor menu. Focusing costs activity tokens or gear, but it removes randomness from a farm. If you are unsure whether an item can be focused, the vendor’s own menu answers it before you spend anything — a focusable item shows the option, one that is not simply does not.

Plan before you farm

God rolls matter more than raw drop luck. The god rolls guide explains which perk pairs to keep when a drop finally lands. Dismantle duplicates you do not need, and keep anything with a strong perk pair even at a lower level. Keep the source line in mind, and every run has a purpose.
