Destiny 2 Zavala weapon this week: how to check his stock
Zavala's Tower stock is not fixed. Here is how to see what he is selling right now, plus which vendor offerings actually rotate every week.
Here is the short version of what changes in Destiny 2 each week:
| What changes | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| Trials weapons | Saint-14 in the Tower Hangar |
| Xûr’s exotic stock | Varies each weekend |
| Nightfall weapon | Vanguard Ops playlist |
| Featured raid and dungeon | The Director |
Zavala’s Bazaar stock is not fixed
Zavala commands the Vanguard, and his weapon stock in the Tower Bazaar is not fixed. Bungie refreshes vendor inventories as the game updates, so what he sells can change between patches and resets. Rather than guessing at a schedule, the fastest answer is to open the game and look.
Fast travel to the Tower and walk into the Bazaar to see his current shelf. His location has not moved in years, so returning players will find him where they left him.
Vanguard weapons and rank-locked gear
His stock includes Vanguard weapons, armor, and engrams. Anything with a listed price can be bought with the currency shown on the card. Rank-locked gear needs playlist reputation, which you earn by running strikes and Nightfalls or turning in his bounties.
Bounties are the faster route because they stack while you play other content. Engrams he sells can also decrypt into weapons you have not collected yet.
Xûr and Saint-14 hold the weekly rotations
If you are really hunting a weekly rotation, Zavala is not the vendor famous for one. Xûr arrives each weekend with a fresh set of exotics, tracked in our Xûr guide. Saint-14 sells a rotating Trials stock from the Hangar.
The Nightfall playlist grants one featured weapon at a time, and the Director highlights a dungeon or raid each week. Our weekly reset guide pulls all of it into one page.
Vanguard weapons are easy to farm either way. Strikes, Nightfalls, and Vanguard Ops drop legendary engrams that decrypt into the world pool, so the same names repeat across vendors and drops. Vendor rank-ups also reward gear.
Most are legendary, which means they compete with your best-in-slot options rather than filling an exotic slot. If you are chasing a specific roll, judge the perks rather than the name.
Before you spend, compare the offer against what you already own. A weapon with a perk you cannot get elsewhere is worth shards. A duplicate with a worse roll is not. That habit keeps your vault clean and your shard count healthy, especially after a long night of strikes.
